It's been a quiet week here. Not that I don't have much to say, but mostly I've been out of the home, out of range of my computer, not in a writing mindset. It will return, of this I'm sure.
But I end the week with these beautiful links and loves.
1. These blogs/entries/women I am reading/adding/commenting/loving. Go and say hello, will you?
2. As Madeleine's birthday draws near, friends and family are buying gifts. My parents purchased this little cleaning trolley. I'm not sure whether it's super cute or depressing that my daughter is obsessed with cleaning. But alas, she is. And the vacuum works. Crazy. And another friend purchased her this odd pink Kid-o Bilibo. It apparently has a high toy IQ.
3. This weather. Goodness, if you live in Texas, this weather is a tease. It's beautiful. And amazing. Makes me throw open my windows in haste to let the breeze float in. I say it's a tease because in a matter of weeks, I'm certain it will be in the 90s again, and you'll find me bemoaning my sorry existence as a Texan. I'll probably blog about it then.
4. And this sweet nugget I found in my inbox (my own emphasis added):
"My little bird sister, you owe much to God your Creator,
and you must always and everywhere praise him...
and you are also indebted to Him for the realm of the air
which He assigned you.
Moreover, you neither sow nor reap, yet God nourishes you,
and He gives you the rivers and springs to drink from....
Therefore my little bird sisters, be careful not to be ungrateful,
but strive to always praise God."
~ St. Francis of Assisi
Love!
